Merri Outreach Support Service acknowledges that we are on Kulin land for which traditional owners and their forebears have been custodians for many centuries and one on which indigenous people have performed age old ceremonies of celebration, initiation and renewal. We acknowledge their living culture and unique role in the life of this region.

Merri Outreach Support Service is a community based organisation that has been actively assisting men, women and children experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness since 1989. The service strives to work together with people using the service to assist them to overcome their personal issues and barriers to social, emotional and financial independence.

The aims of this website are to:

Inform people who use our services and those who may be in need of extra support of the work we undertake and how we may be able to assist them.
Better communicate with the broader community and other service providers allowing for easier access to Merri Outreach Support Service support programs.
Encourage community participation in our organisation.
